About me

My name is Anna Coufalová and I am a traditional illustrator from the Czech Republic.

Growing up in the rural highland town of Krucemburk I was raised surrounded by woodlands and the mystery it brings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This, with a rich culture steeped in magic and wonder, has strongly influenced my style of artistry and is the reason I am strongly focussed on the traditional art styles.

 

I am primarily an illustrator with a focussed discipline in Children’s illustration and this means is I enjoy depicting the innocence and beauty of childhood and the imagination at its most pure.
